Jan 1, this year, I decided to take the challenge, and set up a blog just for photography. The only requirement is to post one photo a day. This has proven to be a real source of enjoyment for me. I find myself looking for something unusual or beautiful to snap a photo of. It has really made me appreciate the beauty in ordinary things. Today, my sweet granddaughter, Danielle, came over after school, and since she had done her hair a little different, she wanted to have a few pictures. So out we went in the dreary back yard. You see she is sitting on my rusty 50 year old swing, which I still adore. (not it's looks...just it's comfort). This is the photo that I posted on the photo blog. The challenge today was the post processing, and I experimented with some edits that I do not generally use, but it was a lot of fun and I like it!
This photo is one Danielle likes, and she did the editing on it. Is she gorgeous or what?
Oh my....just had to add this one in here too! it is one of my favorites. No big edits.... I love the natural color. Cute, cute girl!!!
