Ralph's birthday

Yesterday was Ralph's 74th birthday. Is that possible? The days rush past so fast, I feel like I am standing on the pages of a little flip book, running along like one of the little stick figures we used to draw as children. We drew them on the lower right hand corner of every page of a book. Each drawing one was just a little different from the previous one, so when we flipped through the pages, it appeared to be moving.

We celebrated Ralph's birthday by going out to lunch, and then riding the Frontrunner commuter train. Ralph works part time as a host on the train. It was fun to have Danny's family with us last night. The kids enjoyed it very much. After the train ride, we visited Ralph's parents who are going on 98 and 92 years of age. Not many people reach the age of 74, and still have both of their parents. We made a quick stop at home to let the dogs out and then we were off to see Avatar in 3-D. It was amazing...entertaining, and had a really beautiful sound track.

The birthday boy....This is not Christmas paper, it is snowy, snowman, January weather, paper!!

Zachary's first train ride. Most of the time he slept, but towards the end, he dined :-)
and he got a change of clothing, and looked around at everything.
